juxtaposition of live edge wood with stainless steel or acrylic bases. Her favorite space in her own home is the family room, which is cream, grey and smokey blue, with brass accents. Ruth describes it as having a cozy feel and lots of texture, but being very serene at the same time.
When it comes to buying furniture, her advice is that even if you particularly love a piece, resist the urge to purchase before you have created a concept for the space. This ensures that every piece you purchase will fit right in!
Ruth’s favorite part of a design project is seeing the end result come together, and of course, her clients’ reactions. She can proudly say that she has moved at least one client to tears of joy upon showing them the final product. Will you be the next?
